Scope of the Lifetime Guarantee

For eligible applications completed by an approved Protect Group applicator, the Lifetime Guarantee is intended to support:

Three-Tier Protection Structure

Each eligible application is supported by multiple layers of accountability:

Manufacturer Support

The coating product is supported by the manufacturer in accordance with It’s technical specifications.

Protect Group Lifetime Guarantee

Protect Group Australia & New Zealand administers this Lifetime Guarantee & manages all initial assessments and customer support.

Independent Warranty Support

Where appropriate, an independent third-party warranty provider may be engaged to assist with larger claims or rectification work.

This structure is designed to ensure there is no single point of failure in the support process.

Transferability

The Lifetime Guarantee is transferable to a subsequent owner of the treated asset, subject to verification of the original application and compliance with reasonable conditions.

Maintenance and Owner Responsibilities

To remain eligible under the Lifetime Guarantee, the owner must take reasonable steps to maintain the treated asset and preserve the integrity of the coating system.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Certain contaminants (including bird droppings and tree sap) are acidic or reactive and can cause damage if not removed within a reasonable timeframe.

Important Notice on Maintenance

The performance of the coating system is directly influenced by ongoing care and environmental exposure.

Failure to maintain the asset in a reasonable manner, including failure to clean regularly or remove harmful contaminants promptly, may result in:

Distinction Between Product Failure and External Factors

For clarity, the Lifetime Guarantee applies to issues arising from the performance of the coating system.

It does not apply where deterioration or damage is reasonably attributable to:
